Dr. Rangnekar earned her undergraduate degree from Bandodkar College of Science in India. She obtained her medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai, India. Subsequently, Dr. Rangnekar completed her internship and residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit and her fellowship in endocrinology, metabolism and bone mineral at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

Dr. Rangnekar is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. She was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s Bridges to Excellence program for her quality diabetes care and management.
