Rebecca L. Adochio, MD is a board certified endocrinologist. Prior to attending medical school she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with an emphasis in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. She attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma and then completed both her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.  After training she began clinical practice at a larger tertiary care and transplant center in Oklahoma City where she provided both inpatient and outpatient consultative services in Endocrinology. After 5 years she returned to Colorado in 2014, where she has been in clinical practice as a staff physician with Vail Health Clinics. She is excited to partner in practice with Colorado Mountain Medical and looks forward to growing the endocrine services in the Vail Valley.

Dr. Adochio enjoys treating all aspects of endocrinology, including thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, parathyroid, and metabolic bone disorders. She has expertise in thyroid cancer treatment and ultrasound guided biopsy of thyroid nodules. Dr. Adochio also has a special interest in treating disorders of metabolism and diabetes mellitus.

Dr. Adochio is happy to call the Vail Valley home with her husband and two children and enjoys living, working and playing in the Rocky Mountains.
