Dr. Mark A. Lupo is the founder and Medical Director of the Thyroid & Endocrine Center of Florida. Dr. Lupo is board-certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Lupo attended Duke University and earned his medical degree and internal medicine training from the University of Florida. Dr. Lupo completed Endocrinology training through a combined program at the University of California, San Diego and Scripps Clinic. Dr. Lupo is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Florida State University College of Medicine, a member of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), and the current Secretary of the Academy of Clinical Thyroidologists. Dr. Lupo lectures nationally and internationally on the topic of thyroid nodules and teaches neck ultrasound in the evaluation of nodules and cancer to other endocrinologists and surgeons. Dr. Lupo is also an active member of Mensa.
