Dr. Hotes has been a member of the Sinai medical staff since 1988, serving as Physician-in-Chief before being named as Chief Medical Officer. He is a graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, DC, where he became a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha, Honor Medical Society. Dr. Hotes completed a medical internship and medical residency program at University Hospital, Boston. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Endocrinology. As a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Long Term Hospitals (NALTH), he is chairman of the NALTH research outcomes committee and physicians committee.
