I was born in Michigan but have lived in Southern California most of my life. I am often asked about my name, which is pronounced "YAH-vore." It's a Hungarian name. My father was born in Hungary and left during the Hungarian Revolution in 1956. I have one older brother who is an electrical engineer and lives in San Diego. My wife is also a physician. We have two young children.

I see members with diabetes and other hormonal conditions. This is both challenging and thoroughly rewarding. Our team of physicians, nurses, and health educators provide outstanding care and support for our patients. It is always our goal to enable those we see with the tools to sustain their success.

I enjoy various activities that living between the mountains and the beach offers. I also enjoy music, especially classical and film scores. I exercise regularly, mostly keeping up with my two little ones. I enjoy playing the tuba in several local ensembles.
