Dr. Wiethop has been practicing Endocrinology since 1991. He received his medical degree from St. Lous University, St. Louis, MO in 1986. Dr. Wiethop completed his internship and residency at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, St Louis, MO in 1989. He then completed his fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine St. Louis, MO in 1991. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. He is also AACE certified in thyroid ultrasound. Dr Wiethop joined Dothan Medical Associates, P.C. in January 2011. Prior to joining Dothan Medical, he practiced in St Louis, Missouri for 19 years. He is married to Rose. They have one son, Brian, and two daughters, Stephanie and Erica.
